Detroit is in Michigan, in the Midwest, where summers are warm, winters are cold and snowy, and most errands are done by car; businesses keep steady year-round hours with the usual holiday changes. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Detroit follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. -First and foremost it's a safe place to participate or watch a friend compete. -I had the opportunity to coach in Summer Late Night Basketball League for our young adults- Amazing. -Great to see young adults choosing positive activity.

Great place but the Gymnasium floor hasn’t been WAXED IN YEARS. There starting a league here next week as part of a BRAND NEW summer program by the mayor. Hopefully it’s WAXED BY THEN. It’s been entirely too long

Great experience so far! I've been attending for 4 weeks so far and really enjoy the weight room here. It's a modest weight room but it definitely has the equipment I need for my routine/workouts. And there is a pool! For residents of the area, it's only $25 a year. Currently beats any other gym. --- Update: May 5, 2026- Yeah, this place is cool! I'm mainly using the weight room but there is so much to do. I don't have kids of my own but this place has plenty of events and activities for children. They also have activities for adults too! Neighborhokd meetings are held here too. So learning what the community is doing or meet our governance leadership. There plenty of people continuing to work for a better future

Its down the street from my mamma house and the affordable yearly plan has been my only lifeline that I could go to a gym. So grateful for them. They’re a big hit with the kids in the neighborhood. I kinda wish they could intergrate a 24 hour model. Those of us with funny schedules would be able to come more frequently. Im hoping that the increase of security is offset by the income and utility that the center offers. These are crazy times especially and a place like that, if the offered 24hr kido care/ the facility being open just in general. It would probably balloon into a safe haven… make us a target… nvm. The place is great πŸ˜…

The gentlemen at the front desk is very rude. When I first approached the front desk to see where the class was that my daughters were taking, he didn’t even acknowledge me. He was casually talking to someone on the front desk phone on speaker phone, waited until he felt like pausing his conversation and then decided to address my question. I’ve seen him and another front desk associate (older woman) have no problem, yelling, being rude, and getting attitudes with patrons coming in. There is a way to communicate without being rude and nasty. The front desk definitely needs more training in customer service. There is no reason a scene should be created when you are talking to a customer.
